PEN & INK WITH WATERCOLOR RENDERINGS

A Pen & Ink with Watercolor Rendering gives a stronger architectural expression than simply watercolor. The delineation between planes is crisper and small details are more clearly defined. Additionally, the Pen and Ink Illustrations can be colored digitally in Photoshop, which allows us to convey multiple settings such as time of day, seasons and weather.

WATERCOLOR RENDERINGS

Archimation provides watercolor renderings for architects, developers and ad agencies. Traditional watercolor renderings have a long history as a means of depicting architecture. With the softer application of watercolor, more is left to the viewer’s imagination than with digital photorealistic renderings. Not every detail needs to be fleshed out. There is often an emotional response that only hand-painted renderings evoke.

LOOSE

Loose Renderings are used to portray an idea of the overall concept without giving specific details. They are impressionistic in style and take less time to complete, therefore they cost less. Loose Renderings are chosen for many reasons: the client is in the early design stages, it is noncommittal, a fast approaching deadline and a tight budget.

CONCEPTUAL

Conceptual Renderings serve to express ideas even when the engineering and structural analysis have not begun. We create Conceptual Renderings using different techniques at various levels of detail. We utilize our vast library of architectural styles and elements in combination with our experience to interpret even the most basic design dreams into our client’s visual reality!
